We seek to create a better future for both pets and people

We seek to create a better future for both pets and people because pets make us happier and healthier. We explore the ideal way for pets and people to live together for our mission of “Building a mutual path for animals and humans,” which we save to promote a society where humans and pets live together.

In recent years, the number of dogs in Japan has been declining, and the intention to own pets has decreased as well across all generations and genders. Considering this situation, we decided to carefully examine the specific frameworks and guidelines to foster better coexistence between people and pets in society.

By participating in Toyota Woven City as an inventor, we plan to conduct a variety of demonstration projects aimed at promoting harmonious coexistence with pets. These projects will include the development of urban guidelines, the establishment of mechanisms and rules for different urban functions, and the exploration of transportation infrastructures. Through these initiatives, we aim to pursue the ideal of cities and communities that are comfortable and appealing for pets and their owners as well as for people who have no pets, thereby contributing to the advancement of an environment where people and pets can harmoniously coexist in Japan.

We will announce the specific initiatives to be implemented in due course.
