Site Policy

With respect to the information and content disseminated by the Company via the Site, the Company makes a reasonable effort to provide correct and up-to-date information, but does not guarantee the correctness, accessibility, and integrity thereof. When accessing and using the Site and its content, users are asked to use the Site and its content at their own discretion and responsibility.

The Company does not guarantee in any way whatsoever the information and content provided on the Site, including whether they are products or content suitable for users' purposes. The Company and the persons involved in the production, maintenance or provision of the Site assume no liability for any access to the Site, whether the Site is available for use, and all losses and damage arising directly or indirectly due to information posted to the Site or a computer virus from a third party.

Users are deemed to have consented that they will compensate the Company and its officers, employees, affiliated companies and other third parties for any loss or damage caused by their violating this Policy and will approve and cooperate in the implementation of necessary measures to prevent such loss or damage occurring or expanding.

With respect to the handling of personal information that the Company receives from users through the Site, the Company promises to handle such personal information appropriately in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy posted to the Site. For details, see the Privacy Policy.

1. A user who wishes to post a link to the Site (hereinafter referred to as "Posting of a Link") on a website managed and operated by the user (hereinafter referred to as the "User’s Site") is asked to notify us in advance using the inquiry form.
2. Even after permitting the Posting of a Link, the Company may refuse in the following cases: where the content of the User’s Site is contrary to public order and morality or misleads people into believing that the Company has a partnership with other persons or organizations; where the person operating the User’s Site falls under the category of antisocial forces, or damages or defames the Company or its products and services; or otherwise where the Posting of a Link is likely to disadvantage the Company or the Company deems that the Posting of a Link is inappropriate. This provision also applies to the use and handling of the Company’s logos, trademarks and the like, as well as its works.
3. Please be informed that the pages of the Site that are linked to may be changed (deleted or moved) without notice as needed.

The Site contains links or references to websites managed and operated by third parties, and users may access such third parties’ sites through those links. Those links are posted for users’ convenience, and the Company does not provide any guarantee or assume liability for the correctness, communicability and integrity of information provided on such external websites and the deletion or transfer of those links. In addition, the Company shall not be liable for paying damages for any loss or damage arising from such information and content.

The Site contains general information on diseases and the medical treatment of animals. Users who are not engaged in veterinary medicine are asked not to use the information provided on the Site for selecting drugs or the like, solving health problems, diagnosing a disease or any other decision, but instead are asked to always consult with a veterinarian or another expert.

Users are asked to refrain from transmitting any confidential information they possess via the inquiry form on the Site or an email or other messages sent to the Company. However, if the Company obtains confidential information from a user through communication by email or other means based on an agreement between the user and the Company, the Company will appropriately manage the confidential information.

1. Users are prohibited from using the Company’s name and logos with the letters "KS" in their User’s Sites or works without the Company’s permission.
2. The product names and trademarks posted to the Site are the trademarks and the like of the Company or its affiliated companies, licensors, or business partners. With respect to the use and misuse of those trademarks and the like, users are prohibited from using them without the Company’s permission unless such use is permitted under the Trademark Act, the Unfair Competition Prevention Act, the Copyright Act and other applicable laws and regulations.

With respect to all information and content posted to the Site, text, figures, images, illustrations, videos, and other works are the works of the Company or its affiliated companies, licensors, business partners or other third parties. Users are prohibited from using the information and content provided on the Site without the Company’s permission unless such use is permitted under the Copyright Act.

The Site and the information and content provided on the Site are intended to comply with the laws and regulations of Japan and transmit information to users living in Japan. The information and content provided on the Site are accessible by users outside Japan; however, laws, regulations, and methods of diagnosis may differ between Japan and other countries. The Company does not provide any guarantee about, or assume any liability for, whether the Site and the information and content provided on the Site are applicable and valid outside Japan.

For the purpose of enhancing and improving the information, content and services provided by the Company or understanding and improving the maintenance and operation of the website and the status of use of the website, the Company may use cookies to collect information on the status of access to the Site and how the Site is being used, and perform statistical analysis using Google Analytics or other tools. Users may disable the cookie function; however, please be informed that users may not be able to use some of the Site’s services if cookies are disabled.

If the Company needs to notify users of the Sites, the Company will do so by posting a notice on the Site or by any other means the Company deems appropriate.

The Company is under no obligation to respond to users’ inquiries, emails and other messages sent to the Site.

1. The application and interpretation of this Policy shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
2. Users shall agree that the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over all disputes arising between the Company and users in connection with the use of the Site, and the handling of information and content provided on the Site or this Policy.

Please be informed that the Company may amend (add to or delete) information that has been posted to the Site or this Policy as needed without giving prior notice to users.

The Company may temporarily suspend the use of the Site or terminate the management and operation of the Site without giving prior notice to users. Please be informed that the Company will assume no liability for such suspension of use or termination.
